Lorel Stevens Lorel grew up in Flagstaff Arizona; a small mountain town full of eclectic cultures, a focus on natural health, wellness and nature preservation. Being a competitive athlete most of her life in Track and Field, 5K's, Triathlons and Bodybuilding, further harnessed that interest in pain management, injury prevention/treatment and natural forms of healing. Lorel is also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. This additional layer of life experience and path back to mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wholeness gave her the experience and passion to work with trauma survivors of all kinds. She is active in the sport, dance and non-profit community in the Phoenix Metropolitan area in the spirit of supporting the community we live in. She learned to adapt quickly at a very young age. Susane spent a great deal of time on her grandparent’s remote farm. She learned and developed a love of natural remedies for mind, body and spirit from her Native American Mother and Grandmother. Here, Susane cultivated a love of all living things and empathic ability. She is committed to sharing and teaching these holistic skills with all those who wish to take part of their personal healing. She has a unique way of breaking down ancient wisdom into practical, hands-on tools for every day modern life. Susane is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence as well. The road to wholeness and healing brought determination, steel will, compassion and understanding. Speaking out publicly in our community with organizations such as Fresh Start Women’s Center and the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence has brought her full circle. Now Susane works with the mentoring program at Fresh Start Women’s Center to help others on their road to wholeness. |
